welcome!

as an avid music fan, moreso than the average person, i decided to make my own review blog. as as every pretentious music fan does, of course. i don't really listen to just one genre, but rather just about every genre. and yes, i know everyone under the sun claims to, but for me it rings true.

some personal favorites of mine are mili, lareine/kamijo, malice mizer, chuck salamone, rosegarden funeral party, the crane wives, amigo the devil, adrienne lenker, lamp, poe, alice schach, kendrick lamar, mf doom, hideki naganuma i'll cut this ramble off prematurely to say that i listen to a lot of musicians of varying genres, and enjoy a mix of both mainstream and indie artists.

here you will find my personal reviews, recommendations, articles and analysis on bands and musicians that i like, or randomly decided to listen to on a whim. as a reader of sites like the wire,, gorilla vs. bear and bandcamp daily, i wanted to put my two cents in this little "music reviewer" category but with an indie, early 2000s-esque twist.
